The world is full of people and the web is full of community sites. Driven by typical human curiosity, I got registered and really stuck with many of the social networking websites. One gives me access to all the names to date with; other gives me a scrap or a chat feature; something else features photo-sharing and some others have video sharing too. Each one is good in its own way catering to my tastes and interests in a “fragmentary” way. But that is until I ran into Bharatstudent.com.

Many Social network sites stand out for one specific feature. I found Bharatstudent.com to be offering more features - Make Friends, Form Gangs, Read Film News, Gossips, See Photo Galleries, Wallpapers of Actor & Actress on Bharatcafe, Get Info on Study Abroad, Upload Videos & Earn Money @ Campus TV, Girls Only & Earn Part-time & Win Gifts. By facilitating more features at one single platform, I think this site will become Hot and India’s Largest Free Social Community Networking Site.
Northgate Technologies Limited has launched http://www.bharatstudent.com/, a website with social networking as one of its prime attribute, for young Indians living across the globe last Saturday. Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra recently launched this website and has become a registered member too.
On the launch Venkat Meenavalli, the CEO and Actress Priyanka Chopra spoke “www.bharatstudent.com reflects the essence of youthfulness and creates a platform for me to connect with young Indians globally, make new friends and express my love, warmth and respect.” Some key attributes of this website being: Social Networking: Apart from networking with old friends, members can grade their schools or work places, write reviews, build new networks, share interests, join groups, send messages and write blogs, share photos and videos. Campus TV: It is primarily focused at reporting latest happenings at schools, colleges and workplaces or showcases any user created videos.
Bharat CafĂ©: When you ask any youngster in India as to why they browse the net, 60% would say ‘filmi news/stuff’. Filmi gossip, news, views, reviews and photos/screensavers/wallpapers and many more are available right from Bollywood to Kollywood.
Campus TV: I wondered ‘why not some leading video broadcasting sites pay for uploading and watching videos’. My friends said, I sound ambitious on being paid for videos. They also said ‘Don’t even expect it in the near future’. Having no other option, I had to get convinced with the idea of dumb majorities. But now, I can silence my friends and speak out about a site which not only provides you with a chance to socialize like other sites; but also PAY YOU FOR UPLOADING VIDEOS. Of course they pay very nominal amount still far better than tubing videos for free. Courtesy – http://www.bharatstudent.com/. The owners of this site, I felt, have to plan a strategy for aggressive marketing for this concept. I in fact wrote it to the administrators of this site. Do try to earn some money on this impressive site; meant exclusive for young Indians across the globe.
Study Abroad: Being a student, I liked the concept of study abroad column. One day, I glanced through the pages and found “STUDY ABROAD” very informative. The website will guide the students in identifying schools that are affordable, have low application fees, and has a good prospect for a financial assistantship. It will also help the eligible students in securing student loans and part time jobs. The following link is the best of all. http://www.bharatstudent.com/study-abroad/freeprofile.php It gives you a clear idea as to where you fit into according to your academics, TOEFL score, GRE score, Recommendation Letters and SOPs. This is a very useful and resourceful page for all those who are serious about getting an assured seat.
Campus Representatives: Good news for all young Indians. http://www.bharatstudent.com/ plans to hire about 500 students in India and 100 Indian students studying abroad as Campus Representatives to report campus happenings and guide prospective students trying for admission in their school/college. Campus reps who perform well will be given 100 per cent scholarship for their higher education or will be hired by Axill group companies, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Northgate Technologies Ltd.
